- Bective Abbey – Founded in 1147, Bective Abbey was a Cistercian monastery and later a filming location for Braveheart! Its well-preserved cloisters, stone archways, and passageways make it an interesting site for history enthusiasts and photographers alike.

- The Hill of Tara – Once the ceremonial seat of Ireland’s High Kings, The Hill of Tara is one of the country’s most significant archaeological sites. It features ancient monuments and offers panoramic views of the countryside.
