Upcoming Holiday Events at The Station House Hotel
Celebrate this holiday season at the Station House Hotel with our festive lineup of events! From Boyne Valley...
We’re excited to announce that The Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, Co. Meath, has joined Ireland’s Blue Book—a prestigious collection celebrating Ireland’s most distinguished hotels, country houses, and dining establishments. Being selected to join this esteemed listing is a tremendous honor, and we are proud to stand among the very best in Irish hospitality.
Tucked away in the beautiful Boyne Valley, The Station House Hotel offers a peaceful country retreat just 40 km from Dublin. Originally a railway junction dating back to 1862, the property was acquired by the Slattery family in 1981. In 1984, they opened the Signal Restaurant, establishing The Station House as a premier food destination and an award-winning venue for weddings and events. It remains a family-run and operated business to this day!
Situated on 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands, The Station House Hotel offers a charming blend of historic character and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy unique boutique-style accommodation designed with comfort in mind. The hotel’s dining experiences include the fine dining Signal Restaurant and all-day casual fare at The Platform Brasserie & Terrace. For weddings and events, The Carriage House provides an elegant and private venue that accommodates up to 190 guests, set against a backdrop of lush greenery and historic architecture.
As of today, guests are welcome to redeem their Blue Book vouchers at The Station House Hotel. We look forward to welcoming new guests and sharing our unique charm and warm hospitality with the Blue Book community!
A heartfelt thank you to Ireland’s Blue Book CEO, Michelle Maguire, and to all the members who supported our entry.
We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated team, whose hard work brings The Station House Hotel to life every day.
